    protecting spreadsheet (2007)

Lounger's - I have spreadsheet with a combination of text in cells and option buttons.

Is there a way to protect the text in cells but still have the option buttons operational?

    Any thoughts?

Yes, but you have to make sure that the cells that are linked to the option buttons are unlocked, itherwise the user won't be able to select a different option button.

Hans - as soon as I started to read your reply, the penny dropped. Of course - amazing how you can overlook the obvious sometimes.

    Thanks again
