    Bank Hols by Country (2003)

Hi. I have two tables. One is to be a lookup which lists countries across a row and their bank holidays down the columns. Within the other table I have a list of countries and specific dates.
I would like to add to this second table an additional column which will indicate whether the entered date is a bank holiday for that country.
What formula would I create to achieve this? Thanks, Andy.

You'd use MATCH to find the country, OFFSET to refer to the correct column and MATCH again to test whether the specific date is found in the list of holidays for that country.

Thank you Hans. I managed to create the formula I need. Andy.
