    TOOL BAR (2003 sp2)

when using the spread sheet there was a place on the tool bar area where you could see what was in a cell and even edit the cell, mine is missing. Perhaps I turned it off some how?, I would like to get it back on if possible.

I think you mean the Formula bar.
    Select Tools | Options...
Activate the View tab (if necessary, it is the default tab).
Tick the Formula Bar check box and click OK.

Note: if the Formula Bar check box was already ticked, clear it, then click OK. Next, open Tools | Options again, tick the check box and click OK.

Yes, Yes and thank you. It was a selection under the tools options view and the little check box. I do appreciate the response. <img src=/S/clapping.gif border=0 alt=clapping width=19 height=23>
