    Translation in Word (2003 (11.8169.8172) SP3)

    When I use Word and try to translate from English to Korean it refuses to find the word and gives this message
    "This service could not be searched because you are not connected to the Internet. Please connect and try again."
    If I try the same translation in Powerpoint there is no problem.
    I tried repairing the application.
    Any ideas?

    Did this problem start recently? Which firewall are you using?

    Yes, it started recently. It was working well, then the computer had to have all software removed and the OS etc reinstalled.
    I don't know the firewall, it is in a University network. But I don't think the firewall has been changed.

    The reason I asked was that one of this week's Windows updates caused Internet connection problems if ZoneAlarm is used as firewall. ZoneAlarm has released a fix for it (see here) but if you're on a university network, that is no help.
