    Hide Table Grid? (2000 SR1)

    Hi,

In Word, even if a table has zero grid, it still is visible on the screen as a thin grey line - although when printing doesn't show this.

How can I remove the grid altogether - i.e. make it invisible?

    Thanks,

    m.q.'

    Hi musab,

Go to Tools > Options > View tab and turn off the checkmark next to Text boundaries.
To hide the end of cell markers too, turn off the checkmark next to Paragraph marks.

MQ near the foot of the Table Menu is the option to hide gridlines. Select that option and all lines will go. I never use it myself as you can't see where the cells are but thats me! <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
