Re: File Option (Vista Ultimate SP1)

Bob, that option is in the Edit menu in Windows XP, so I assume it's in the Edit menu in Windows Vista too (press Alt to display the menu bar, but you knew that, of course).

    File Option (Vista Ultimate SP1)

In WIndows XP, Windows Explorer, there is an option under the File>Edit drop down to "invert selection" Very handy to select one file then invert the selection to select all BUT that file or files.

In Vista Windows Explorer, I don't see that option available. Am I just missing seeing it or does it not exist in Vista?

Re: File Option (Vista Ultimate SP1)

    Hans,
Yes, in my original post, I didn't add the ">Edit" part, which I have corrected but it also it made me look at WE in Vista, and saw that I had the Menu bar HIDDEN. UNHIDING the menu bar revealed the option that I was looking for. ALL is well again. Thanks for the eye opener! <img src=/S/blush.gif border=0 alt=blush width=15 height=15> <img src=/S/doh.gif border=0 alt=doh width=15 height=15> <img src=/S/groan.gif border=0 alt=groan width=16 height=15> <img src=/S/hiding.gif border=0 alt=hiding width=70 height=24>
