FREE software to auto visit website

Does anyone know of any FREE software which l can be placed on my webspace that will auto visit my web pages once a month or another specified time period.

As l have free web space which requires visitors once a months, if l do not visit this site it will close down. It is a small personal site and is not submitted to search engines therefore reason for few visitors. It is not really possible to put in scheduled tasks as l do not user internet much at home but elsewhere i.e. library , friends PC, work.

Can you determine whether the site actually has been "visited"?

If so, you might like to try the (probably) command-line WGET, to access/download the index page to your own PC. You could set up a shortcut to click on, or even schedule a trivial BATch file to run, say, twice a month. (I used WGET in a former existence to determine whether there was a new update on an AV manufacturer's website that needed to be downloaded).

Later... I've attached a slightly amended BATch file as a TXT file.
