    Email Encryption (Outlook 07)

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the proper place. Certain persons within our organization need to have secured/encrypted email. Our IT department has indicated that it is too costly to modify our current system to accomodate this organization-wide and has suggested that we try to find a third party vendor that can accomplish this for those who need it.

Can anyone let me know how to go about this, what to look out for, etc.? I have no experience with this type of thing so I don't know where to start.

    Thanks for any help!

I have no experience with it, but you might take a look at MessageLock. It encrypts both e-mail messages and attachments.
The popular WinZip program has the WinZip E-Mail Companion; it only encrypts attachments, not the e-mail messages themselves.
