    Selecting rows (2007)

I have excel 2007 installed on a second machine. My initial impressions are that I am not that keen on the new layout. Putting my initial miss-givings aside, one key bit of functionality seems to have been discontinued:

In 2003 I often use the functionality of selecting a whole row and then hold down shift and either the up or down arrows until I have selected all the rows I need. This technique does not appear to work in 2007. Was this a deliberate change and is there any way that I can re-instate the functionality?

    The easiest way is to:

    1) Press SHIFT + SPACE
    2) SHIFT DOWN or UP Arrow

Here a good resource for all Excel 2007 keyboard shortcuts
