Lost custom toolbar/icons... (latest Word XP)

    Hello!

Word crashed and afterwards I found that I'd lost a custom tool bar and custom icons (or I don't know where to locate them). The associated macros are still there. Can anyone help me get my toolbar and icons back?

    Thanks,
    Rusty

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

Custom toolbars for general use are stored in the Normal.dot template. Its default location is Cocuments and Settings<username>Application DataMicrosoftTemplates.
Do you have a recent backup of this file? If so, rename or move the current Normal.dot and restore the backup version.

Note: Application Data is a hidden folder, so you must tick the check box "Show hidden files and folders" in the View tab of Tools | Folder Options in Windows Explorer in order to see it.
