    Import Lotus Notes Data (2003)

I am considering an MS Access solution that will import Lotus Notes data into the MS Access database. The solution will query the Lotus Notes database for records containing a specified list of names maintained in the MS Access database. Those Lotus Notes records have attached MS Word documents that I am most interested in gaining access to.

I have never exported Lotus Notes data before and am researching some possible solutions on the internet. I have come across a few solutions from vendors like ACC Technology.

Does Woody's have any thread that sheds some light on this? Any initial thoughts or recommendations? Any Access Developer book recommendations that might cover this?

    Thanks.

There's a free ODBC driver for Lotus Notes: NotesSQL. Documentation is available from IBM developerWorks : Lotus NotesSQL. {I don't know whether the ODBC driver lets you access attachments.

There's not much about Lotus Notes here on Woody's Lounge, and it's mostly about sending e-mails from Office applications through Lotus Notes.

Thanks Hans. I might be back to get those threads about sending e-mails from Office applications through Lotus Notes if I can get this thing up and running.
