Importing saved dbx files into Outlook (Vista/Office Standard 07)

I did this over a year ago with help from here. I even printed out the instructions I got. However, I recently had to reinstall factory mirror of Vista on my computer. I saved all the dbx files that I had imported. But now Outlook does not give me the option of searching for the directory where I have the files stored to import them when I click on Import in Outlook email. It wants to look in Outlook Express which is not and never was on this computer.
Any ideas on how I can import these dbx files which are in a folder named with a path such as XXXXXX/Documents/Document-OE Mail/mail backup into my Outlook email which has .pst files?
    Thank you, Roland

Re: Importing DBX files into Outlook 2007 - Vista Forums suggests importing into Windows Mail first, then exporting from Windows Mail to Outlook.
