    Using tab Key (2007)

    I would like to know how I can set the tab key so that after I enter data in say A1 and I tab , the cursor moves to cell B1, I then Tab Again & I move to C1 etc

    Your assistance will be most appreciated

    That is the way it works by default in all previous versions of Excel. Has this changed in Excel 2007? What happens if you enter data in A1 and press Tab?

    Hi Hans

    Thanks for the reply. I managed to sort out the problem. I have Excel 2007. Under Excel Options, Advanced, Lotus Compatibility , The Transition Navigation keys was ticked. I unchecked this and it now works
