    Paste formulas only (Office 2000)

    Hi,
    I used to have an icon in my toolbar that would "paste formulas" only. Did the same thing as going to Paste Special and then clicking on Paste Formulas. Thought the icon was a great time saver. Since then, we got new computers and even though I had saved "my toolbar" and restored it, that particular icon button doesn't work anymore. I can't find the shortcut in "customize toolbar" either. I do have a toolbar icon for Paste Values and Paste Special but can't remember how I got the Paste Formulas in there. Can't find where the icon picture came from either. I had saved all my macros too but that wasn't one of them.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you
    Louise

    Here's code that you can assign to your toolbar
    <div style="width: 100%; background-color: #FFFFFF;"><code><font color=black><font color=blue>Sub</font color=blue> PasteFormulas()
    Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteFormulas, Operation:=xlNone, _
    SkipBlanks:=False, Transpose:=False
    <font color=blue>End</font color=blue> <font color=blue>Sub</font color=blue></font color=black></code></div hiblock>
    Regards
    Don

    Thank you very much! That works great!

    I assigned the macro to the original toolbar button. Can you tell me how I could save that button or image so that I can transfer it to another computer should I have too?

    Thanks again

    Select Tools | Customize...
    Right-click the toolbar button.
    Select "Copy Button Image" from the popup menu.
    This copies the image to the Windows clipboard.
    You can paste it into Paint, or as a new image into Microsoft Photo Editor, or into a Word document, etc. and save it for reuse.

    On the other computer:
    Open the file/document with the picture.
    Copy the picture to the clipboard.
    Switch to Excel.
    Select Tools | Customize...
    Right-click the toolbar button.
    Select "Paste Button Image" from the popup menu.
