    Track Changes (Word 2007)

Does anyone know how to set Track Changes, to the way I want them, globally? Set them once and forget them.

What exactly do you mean? Surely you don't want track changes to be "on" in all documents?

Sorry, NO! I want to be able to set the options to meet my needs and make that setting global, forever, for all document from then on.

You can specify your preferences by clicking the little arrow to the right of Track Changes and selecting Change Tracking Options from the dropdown menu. The settings should stick.

I will try this method again. I did it once before and it didn't hold.
