    Saving individual slides? (2007)

I am a total newbie when it comes to PowerPoint, so my question will no doubt be fundamental. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15> From time to time people send me PP presentations and within them are a few slides/pictures I would like to save to use as Desktop Wallpaper. Is this possible? If so, HOW does one do that? I thought it would be easy to do by clicking on the Print icon and then choose "Print to file".... but that option doesn't exist. Any help would be appreciated.

    THANKS!

    Re: Saving individual slides? (2007)

In previous versions of PowerPoint, you'd do it like this:
    Open the PowerPoint presentation.
Go to the slide that you want to save.
    Select File | Save As...
    Select JPEG as file type.
Indicate that you want to save the current slide only, not the entire presentation.
You can use the standard method to set your desktop wallpaper to the jpg file.
