    Word2000+ (Framemaker MIF format)

    <post:=441,499>post 441,499</post:>
    I've been approached to write a Word/VBA application to take a MIF file (in ascii text format) and use it to generate a Word template with appropriate styles.
    Before I re-invent the wheel, is anyone else out here doing something similar?
    I have in mind an application that allows the user to select only those MIF fields of interest for insertion into the template styles. For example, "Use Space Before and Space After but ignore Left Indent and Right Indent".

    I have no experience with it myself, but there's a MIF conversion program: Mif2Go, if you don't want to reinvent wheels.

    Thanks, Hans.
    I'll try it out on a client Framemaker file.
