    Calculus Is Fun

    Not a puzzle in the typical sense, but puzzling to me. Can someone please shed some light?

    A better formula for use in Q2 is:

    v(f)² = v(i)² + 2ad where f and i are final and initial states, d is the distance travelled. So

    v(f)² = 22² + 2 x 32 x 108 = 7396

    => v(f) = 86
