Another temp files question (5.5SP2, with win2k)

    Another question:

Why do temporary internet files from my main user (with admin privileges) also show up in Default User? Surely I should never be able to access the default user's space?

How should I safely delete them (as they occupy unnecessary Mb of disk space)?

Re: Another temp files question (5.5SP2, with win2k)

I have been using Windows 2K since it came out, and the only time that any tempfiles went to the 'Default User folder" was when I had turn off the login requirement and did not use any login. I will never turn off the required login again and I can not remember how I did it.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Same here. The Default User directory has plenty of folders in it - most of them completely empty. Some have one or two system files put there when I last installed the OS.
