    Worksheet Menu Bar (2003)

Is it possible to hide the worksheet menu bar to prevent a user from accessing the menu options such as tools, edit, views etc.? I've tried to find this in the object browser but had no success. If it is possible, I would think it would be something simple like hiding the formula bar (Application.FormulaBar.Visible = False). If this is possible, can someone please provide and example. Also is it possible to disbale the right click pop up menu that shows the cut copy and paste options? Again if possible, can you plase provide and example. Thanks!!

    Re: Worksheet Menu Bar (2003)

    You can use

    Application.CommandBars("Worksheet Menu Bar").Enabled = False

Don't forget to unhide it by using

    Application.CommandBars("Worksheet Menu Bar").Enabled = True

when you're done. You can disable the shortcut menus the same way, for example the default shortcut menu for cells:

    Application.CommandBars("Cell").Enabled = False
