    Fractions as symbols (2007)

    Hello:

Is there a fraction value for 1/16th and 1/32nd (through to 15/16ths and 31/32nds) that will cause these values to display as a single space character? I am looking for codes or formatting instructions similar to how 1/2, 1/4, and 3/4 ( ) work. Is there a way that I can define any required fraction (5/12ths or 13/17ths, for example) to print in this manner?

    Thank-you.

Unicode fonts have a somewhat larger selection of fractions, see the screenshot below. But for arbitrary fractions you'd need a specialized fraction font (for example Fractions Font, not free). Or you can insert a Microsoft Equation object (if that is available in Office 2007).
