DSN Error (FrontPage 2000)

Trying to establish a database connection using a DSN file and receive the following error:

Server error: Unable to connect to a database from the web server using the connection string 'File Name=URL=fpdb/MarketingConnect.dsn'.

The following error message comes from the database driver software; it may appear in a different language depending on how the driver is configured.
-------------------------------------------------------
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]General error Unable to open registry key 'Temporary (volatile) Jet DSN for process 0x5f8 Thread 0x6ec DBC 0xca10ec Jet'.

Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers

Anyone have any ideas?

Re: DSN Error (FrontPage 2000)

I too am getting a very similar error when trying to view an Active Server Page when using IIS 5.0.

Did you find a solution?

That looks like the right solution....unfortunately I just ended up doing an entire re-install to aleviate the problem...but now I'll know for next time
