    Summ accross row (2003)

    Hello,

I have an access table with months as a column and under each month is a member number. I want create another column which will compute consecutive months and I am not sure how to do in access. I have attached an excel spreadsheet as an example. Thanks.

It would be better to design the table like this:

    <table border=1><td align=center>ID</td><td align=center>Month</td><td align=center>12212</td><td align=center>Jan-08</td><td align=center>12212</td><td align=center>Feb-08</td><td align=center>12212</td><td align=center>Mar-08</td><td align=center>12212</td><td align=center>Apr-08</td><td align=center>12212</td><td align=center>May-08</td><td align=center>1818</td><td align=center>Jan-08</td><td align=center>1818</td><td align=center>Feb-08</td><td align=center>1818</td><td align=center>Mar-08</td><td align=center>2020</td><td align=center>Jan-08</td><td align=center>2020</td><td align=center>Feb-08</td><td align=center>2020</td><td align=center>Mar-08</td><td align=center>2020</td><td align=center>Apr-08</td></table>
You could then create a totals query that groups by ID and counts the months.
