    Hyperlinks (2007)

I import a large amount of data into Excel. One column of this data contains a 5 digit number that is formatted as text and the number is different on every row. This number needs to be turned into a hyperlink that will "jump" to a specific location on a server. The hyperlink will be the same for every row of data, EXCEPT for the last 5 characters of the hyperlink. Those characters need to match the 5-digit character of that row.

Is there a way to automate this so I don't have to manually create this hyperlink for every row?

Please see the attached file for the example.

    Put this formula in A1:

    =HYPERLINK($C$1&B1,B1)

and fill down as far as needed. This will produce a clickable hyperlink that picks up the fixed part from cell C1 and the variable part from column B. The display text is also taken from column B.
