change default shut-dwon option (Vista home premium sp 1)

When I click the Start button and select Shut Down the default option is always Hibernate. I want the default to be the last thing I did when shutting down, which is generally Shut Down. How can I change it?

You can't change it to default to the last action you specified, but you can change it to always do a specific thing. Start>Control Panel (Classic View)>Power Options>Change Plan Settings>Change Advanced Power Settings. Expand Power Buttons and lid, expand Start menu power button and select Shut Down. You can also set the actual physical power button to shut down the computer when you press it.
