    Repair/Re-Install IE7 in Vista? (7.0.6001.18000)

How do I repair an IE 7 Install? It crashing almost every other time that I run it, and almost always when I close it.

Is there a way to re-install or repair?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

not sure why that should happen but if you are desperate why not try tools >internet options>advanced and at the bottom there is a "reset" button

IE7 is not a separate feature. It is released as part of Vista. So, you'd have to do a repair of the OS. Before charging off to do that you should try disabling all the IE addins. See Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet Explorer (no add-ons) or just run "iexplore.exe -extoff".

    Joe/Jeff:

    OK, I'll try those.

    Thanks,
