    "Are you sure you want to open a file from... "

    Does anyone know of a reason for the error message "Are you sure you want to open a file from this location"?
    It happens when I open all files on a network location. 'Yes' results in the file opening normally.
    WIN2K SP1, Office 2K.

    You stated "all files", is this to mean ALL programs or just the one using Office 2K?

    If it is from Office 2K, then it could be the protection script within Office.

    Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

    Yes it is Office 2K files.
