Office 2007 (Office Home and Student 2007)

I have been using Office 2007 Home and Student version on a trial basis as it came installed on new laptop. It's now time to buy and the Microsoft Web site has totally confused me. My issues:
    1. Office 2003 Pro is on my old not too workable laptop and was a downloaded upgrade from Office XP so I don't have an install CD or the product key (unless I can find it on the old laptop).
    2. I use Office primarily for home based small business.
    3. Office Pro 2007 upgrade is prohibitively expensive at $329.99.
    4. Home and Studen (available right now for $99.99) is currently doing all I need (mainly Word and PowerPoint), but is not for commercial use.
    5. Am I legally able to purchase and use Home and Student?
    6. In the Loungers' opinion, would using the Home and Student edition look "chintzy" for a business or can a customer tell what version you have?

A lot of questions, I'm sorry, but any help would be most appreciated!

I'd buy the Home and Student edition.
    - Everyone is entitled to buy this version. Microsoft isn't going to persecute you if you use it for business purposes.
    - The versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint in this version are the same as those in the "bigger" versions.
    - A Word document, Excel workbook or PowerPoint presentation created using this version doesn't look any different from those created in the "bigger" versions.

Hans, wow, such a fast response and thank you so much. Appreciate the answers to all my concerns. It sounds like we can go with the Home and Student and incur no problems. We always have the option of upgrading to a fuller version down the road if it's needed.

    Appreciate your help, very much.
