    Viewing Attachments (2007)

I have the attachment preview turned on, but Outlook is blocking my viewing a URL that I sent as an attachemnt.

What is it that I haven't turned on or off?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

That is default behavior - URLs are among the things that Outlook blocks for security reasons. If you don't want URLs blocked, get Ken Slovak's Attachment Options add-in.

    John:

    That did it. Thanks!

That was the default in 2003 SP-3 also, I believe...

The one thing that's different is that now when you go to save an attachment, the default (at least what I've seen) is to save it with no extension. Once you add the right extension (during saving or after) it works great.

    Thanks,
    Chuck
