    Lock Modules (All)

I have an Excel project in which I would like to lock down the modules and code - which i do using the password in Tools>Properties in the Visual Basic editor
However - I would like to still allow the ability for the user to record new macros into the project

    Is this possible?

So essentially I would need to be able to lock all marcosmodulescode but still allow new macros to be recorded

    Regards,
    Brenton

No, that is not possible. Users would need to provide the password in order to record a macro in a workbook whose VBA project has been protected.
Users can record a macro in another workbook (for example their personal macro workbook Personal.xls) and run it in your workbook.
