Protecting Workbook with Hidden Sheets (Excel 2003)

    Hi All,

I have a workbook that i need to send to different people, there are quite a few sheets that have been hidden, however these have links to one of the worksheet that i want these people to work on. I would like to protect the workbook so that the individuals work only on one worksheet and should not be able to unhide the rest. Is there a way to do it.

Looking forward to an answer for the same.

    Regards
    Baiju

Do not hide them from excel, but goto VB and change the properties of those sheets to "very hidden". Then they will not show up in XL to unhide. You should also add protection onto the VB project so that they can not view the VB items and be unable to unhide them.

    While in VB:

    Tools - VBAProject Properties...
    Protection (tab)
    Check "Lock Project for Viewing"
    Enter/confirm password
    [OK]
