Moving to a new machine - copying my environment (2003 sp2)

    Dear Loungers,

i am being given a new laptop. I don't want to loose my own settings for toolbars and full menus. I know how this works with Word but not Excel (or Powerpoint). Where are these settings now kept - what should I copy to my new profile? Is it just the xlb (and pcb for powerpoint) file?
    thank you................ liz

The XLB file contains the custom toolbar settings for excel. Personal.xls contains the personal macros so you may want to copy this as well.

Any addins you have installed will also need to be installed on the new machine.

It may help to run the "Save my settings wizard", find it in Start, all programs, Microsoft Office Tools.
