Copy Appt Ramdon Dates (Outlook 2000 SR1)

Why will the appointment I want to add to random dates not show up on these random dates? I am using the Ctrl key while I click on the random dates I want to copy the appointment to.

If I misunderstand, please bear with me.
I use the drag and drop technique to copy appointments - I don't know any other way.
Select the appointment and, while holding down the Ctrl key, drag the appointment to the target date and drop it on the date. When the cursor goes into the date area, you should see a plus sign appear to indicate it is being copied.
This works for me using Outlook 2000.
If this isn't what you meant, please post again.
    Cheers

there's a bug and it works differently in some builds. i'll have to dig out my notes on it (or search google - i recall it was discussed in the msnews groups last year) - or Sue may mention it at slipstick.com.

i seem to recall that it works correctly one way (probably your way) but not if using the keyboard method.
