    Vista SP1 (?)

I just upgraded from XP to Vista. Everything is running fine, but I need to upgrade to SP1. After I first started up, over 60 updates were downloaded to the computer, but I can not tell if any of them are SP1. Therefore, I have two questions: 1. How do I tell if I have SP1 loaded and 2. If not, how do I download it. I have run Windows Update and it does not give me anyway to download SP1.

See How to obtain the latest Windows Vista service pack. The section "How to determine whether the latest Windows Vista Service pack is installed" explains how you can find out whether you have SP1.

Please note that there are some incompatibilities between existing software/hardware and Vista SP1. The automatic update service and Windows Update try to determine as best they can whether SP1 is suitable for your system, and if not SP1 will not be offered.
