Mail boxes not showing in folders list (5.0)

I have many *.dbx folders located in Cocuments and SettingsUser nameLocal SettingsApplication DataIdentiesCSLID...MicrosoftOutlook Express but only some are showing in the Folders List in Outlook Express. How do I get them all to appear again?

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

    You could try the following:

    - Quit Outlook Express.
    - Start Windows Explorer.
    - Go to the folder containing your .dbx files.
    - Rename Folders.dbx to Folders.old.
    - Start Outlook Express.

Outlook Express should now display all .dbx files as folders (and create a new Folders.dbx file), but if you had subfolders, the hierarchy will be lost; you'll have to recreate it.

    Hans
Thanks for the welcome! and thanks for the answer - I'm sure it will work as I remember, now that you have prompted me, doing it before.
The problem is not on my machine it is on a friend's who I help out when I can so I won't actually be doing it until my next visit this weekend.
    Cheers
