    Help with Formula (2003)

    Greetings folks,

I have the following formula, and occasionally one(or more) of the cells in the range will be empty. Not forever, just for a short time. How can I have the formula ignore the empty cells?

    =SUBTOTAL(1,E4:E243)

    Thanks,
    Brad

Averaging with Subtotal (as in your formula) will ignore blanks and text just like it will with AVERAGE
