    Table information utility (97 SR1)

Years ago I downloaded a utility that would display information about a selected table (col. count, col width, row height, row count, and some other stuff that I can't remember).

Does anyone out there know what I'm talking about, and where I can get it?

    TIA,

    Al

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

Word 97 comes with some utilities. One of them, Macros8.dot, contains a macro named Table Cell Helper that does some of what you mention (see screenshot below), and another macro named Super Doc Statistics that also displays info about tables.
See How to Access Sample Macros for Word 97.

I don't know of a more advanced utility, and it might be difficult to find one now, in 2008, that will still work with Word 97. But perhaps someone else will have a suggestion...

    Thanks, Hans.

I loaded the templates and found a macro that works.
