    Icons in folders (Icons)

I use XP as an OS and have about five folders that I have shortcuts to web pages that I visit frequently.

My problem is that I can not obtain the icon that comes with that web site so I have created some of my own by using a program called Icon Art.

What happens is, the shortcuts will keep the icon that I have giving them for a few days and then it will resort back to the drab IE7 icon.

This is not a really big problem because it does not interfere with getting to the web site, it just looks neat having all those colorful icons.

Is there something that causes me to loose the icons?

If so what could I do to correct it?

I have Favorg installed but it does not help.

Where do you store the custom icons for the shortcuts?

In that case, I don't understand why the icons would revert to the IE icon, sorry.

Once you have the icon set OK your way out. Then try going back to the shortcut and making it read only.
