    service pack support (2003 sp-2)

Just a reminder that Office 2003 SP-2 support stops at the end of September. See Office Sustained Engineering : Upcoming end of support for Microsoft Office 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2). This is per the stated Microsoft Lifecycle Support policy seen at Help and Support.

You are encouraged to apply SP-3 which can be opbtained from Download details: Office 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3).

Re: service pack support (2003 sp-2)

    Thanks for the heads-up, Joe!

Most have probably noticed, at this time, that the security updates for the Office applications at SP2 level now includes the "security functionality changes" made in Service Pack 3. All updates since 1 January, 2008 have included these changes.

So I am just mentioning this for those intending to do a quick check of the SP level installed in the "About" dialog box; don't do it. See <!post=this post and thread,707318>this post and thread<!/post>.
