    Thoughts/Ideas for Macro Library (2003)

    Hey all,

General question. Over the years I have collected many macros/solutions to situations.

Does anyone have a good method of storing the collected information so that it is easily identified and understood as to the application?

    Thanks,
    Brad

Could you explain in more detail what you want?

Basically, I have macros all over, and am wondering if anyone out there has figured a way to keep track of them for possible use in similar situations.

If they are for your personal use, a good place for them is your personal macro workbook Personal.xls. See Legare Coleman's <!post=Personal.xls Tutorial,118382>Personal.xls Tutorial<!/post>.

If they are to be used by several people, you could create an Excel add-in. See Jan Karel Pieterse's Create Addins.

What I have done is create a spreadsheet listing the macro name and a description of what it does with a link to a text file
    in my harddrive.

    Hope this is helpful
