Brackets in filenames causing problem? (2003 (11.5604.5606))

Hi everyone, not sure if anyone can answer or not - i've tried searching but found nothing. One of our guys here is using round brackets ( ) in template file names and a couple of them have gone corrupt. I wondered if it could be the round bracket causing a problem with the file name - i know some characters are allowed in file names but wasn't sure about these - i don't use them myself. Any advice would be appreciated if someone knows. Thanks very much in advance, Laura

    I think it's a coincidence - there is no objection to having round brackets (parentheses) in file names. The characters that aren't allowed are / : * ? " < > |
