    Multiple Standard Toolbars (2003)

I recently moved my Outlook-related files from one PC to another. I tried to follow all the instructions for moving the *.ost and *.pst files, but now I'm getting multiple Standard toolbars. When I click on a folder name, it creates a new Standard toolbar. I try going into Customize and unclicking all the extra Standard toolbars, but the probably comes back when I go from one folder to another.

    Thanks,
    Bob

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

Try the following (warning: you will lose all menu and toolbar customizations in Outlook):
    - Quit Outlook.
    - Start Windows Explorer.
    - Make sure that hidden files and folders are displayed.
    - Navigate to Cocuments and Settings<username>Application DataMicrosoftOutlook.
    - Rename the file outcmd.dat to outcmd.old.
    - Start Outlook to see if the problem has been solved.

    Re: Multiple Standard Toolbars (2003)

That fixed it. I opened and closed Outlook a few times, clicked around the folders, and the extra toolbars didn't appear.

    Thanks for your help,
    Bob
