arrows do not refer to cell (2003)

    Hi Loungers,

Some time today, my up/down/left/right arrows stopped working as I'm accustomed. When entering data, the arrows would move the active cell in the direction of the arrows. When entering a formula, the arrows would refer to a cell relative to the cell into which the formula was being entered (eg, if entering a formula into B1, use of the right arrow would create a reference to C1 in the B1 formula).

Now the arrows are scrolling the screen.

I've checked various options under Tools but don't see anything that accounts for this. Any ideas?

    TIA

    Fred

Do you see SCRL in the status bar? Try pressing the Scroll Lock key.

    Hi Hans,

Thks for the answer. I didn't realize that the scroll was on. Now it's off.
