    Selecting text boxes (2003)

    Hi Loungers,

I've been creating some diagrams in Word. They contain braces and text boxes to refer to parts of the diagram.

Sometimes I want to select both a brace and a text box so that I can move them together or duplicate both at the same time. I usually have no problem selecting the brace and, while holding the shift, the text box.

Today, that does not seem to work. I can do the reverse: select the text box and, while holding the shift, select the brace. Any ideas about this behavior?

    TIA

    Fred

Perhaps one of the two covers the other in the layering order?

    Hi Hans,

That could be. But I thought there was enough of the text box not touched by the brace that I could select it. I'll watch out for that.

    Thanks.

    Fred
