Copy and Paste Macro (2003 SP2)

    Editted to add attachment <img src=/S/blush.gif border=0 alt=blush width=15 height=15>

    Good morning

can anybody help me with a macro please. I have Googled around and found a macro that allows you to doubke click a cell and it turns red (or a colour of your choice in the macro), double clicking it returns the cell to a blank.

Can I modify this Macro so that I can click a cell, copy the contents and then past it elsewhere in the worksheet. In the attached workbook Click_Red is the original Macro, in cells A1:F1 I have placed some letters that I would like to be able to click, copy and paste, can this be done please. For Example if I clicked the H in A1 could it be automatically copied and then when I click in say J15 it would be pasted?

    Hope I am making sense

    Cheers

I strongly recommend NOT doing this, it will interfere with the normal operation of the worksheet.

You can use Ctrl+C to copy a cell and Ctrl+V to paste it.
You can also drag a cell to another location with the Ctrl key held down to copy it.

    Thanks Hans

I will heed the advice and will try and find another way around my problem as I do not want my drivers etc. copying and pasting manually into the workbook.

You could create a custom toolbar with buttons that will enter the appropriate text and formatting in the active cell. And perhaps keyboard shortcuts too.
