    Where is my picture? (2007)

I understand that saving a document with pictures in the new Word 2007 (xml) format will store the pictures as links to a separate/ related folder. Is this correct? If so, where kind I find the pictures using Explorer? Thanks, Andy.

A .docx (or .docm) file is actually a zip file. The zip file contains the pictures as individual files. You could change the extension to .zip to view the contents. Don't forget to restore the extension, otherwise you won't be able to open the document in Word any more.
