    Query/chart (2007)

I've been away from Access for over a year now & am horrified by what I've forgotten, so I'm asking for help.

I've created a chart/report that queries one of the main tables. I'm going to use a user form to provide criteria for this query.

The problem is; I can't remember how to provide dynamic choice of fields.

All help will be welcomed with open arms

You can use expressions like [Forms]![NameOfForm]![NameOfControl] in the criteria, substituting the name of the form and control.

    Re: Query/chart (2007)

    Sorry, I'm being dense.

I can understand using that for criteria within a field (haven't forgotten everything, after all), but I was thinking of a series of option buttons or check boxes, relating to fields, that the user could use to define which fields would be included in the query/chart.

I'm unsure how to use your example in this manner.

I apologize, I had misinterpreted your question.
What you want is much more complicated, I'll see if I can find an example.

Ah not to worry, as I've only just started this one, I've re-organised the table to be able to manage it better.

    Many thanks
