    Migrating Categories

I've moved Outlook to a new machine and have been successful in migrating some of my settings such as the outcmd.dat and .rwz files found in Barry Simon's Maximizing Outlook 2000. However, what I can't find is if it is possible to move the categories from one machine to another. Anyone know how this can be accomplished.?

If items were already assigned to categories, wouldn't the categories be transferred as part of the PST file (IMO)?

that doesn't put them in the master list and as such, could not be selected from other apps or even other outlook items. To use the category on new items, you'd need to add it to the master list or always type it in.
