Any tips on code cleanup (MSACCESS2003)

I have inherited an access database that is full of vb code. Looking through it I see lots of duplicated event code which could be wrapped up into common procedures. Is there any automated / assisted way of rounding up common code which can then can be put into common procedures.

In the database there are reams and reams of duplicted code, its so wasteful and lazy. Thanks

There are tools that help you analyze your code, such as Total Access Analyzer, but I don't think you can automate the cleanup process - you'll have to do it manually.

Thanks Hans. I had a look at the product but left quickly when looking at prices.
I was hoping there may have been a magic way to export each line into a database and then group up duplicates, but that was wishful thinking.

It's going to take hours manually, but if thats the only way thats it I will have to do it. Best regards
