    VB-Crystal (VB6)

    Hi

    I'm trying to pass a parameter of SiteCD & JobID so I can open a Crystal Report.:

    Private Sub CmdButton_Click(SiteCD As String, JobID As String)
    Set Report = CrystalApp.OpenReport("Cocuments and SettingsdavewDesktopCUSTOMProformaInvoice.rpt")
    crMain.ReportSource = Report
    SiteCD = "MAM001"
    JobID = "10232"

    crMain.ViewReport
    End Sub

    The above halts on the "Private Sub" line.

    The below still asks for the parameters?

    Private Sub CmdButton_Click()
    Set Report = CrystalApp.OpenReport("Cocuments and SettingsdavewDesktopCUSTOMProformaInvoice.rpt")
    crMain.ReportSource = Report
    SiteCD = "MAM001"
    JobID = "10232"

    crMain.ViewReport
    End Sub

    Can anyone help?

    Hi Dave,

    Woody's Lounge is not the best place for questions about Crystal Reports. Please ask your question in a Crystal Reports forum or do a Google search for crystal reports vb6 parameters.

    Hi Hans

    Sorry if you thought this was more Crystal orientated than VB, I'm using the Crystal components within VB6 & the registered Crystal ActiveX modules.
    I'm controlling the project purely with VB6.

    Hi Dave,

    Even if it's within VB6, it's still a question about controlling Crystal Reports, and I fear that you won't get an answer here - there aren't many Loungers working with Crystal Reports as far as I know. (The last time I worked with Crystal Reports is about 10 years ago.)
